WW - Hamilton Meadowbrook, manual wind, 29mm x 33mm to lug tips, 16mm male lug width, original 14K white gold snap back case by Schwab & Wuischpard, engraved presentation to rear from Cadillac for 10 years of service making this one of the earliest employees of the company, brown leather strap, original silvered dial with radium painted numerals and black enamel painted accents, 17J cal 987, s#4006204, triple signed. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 18.6 dwt (29.0 g). The case for this watch was handmade by Schwab & Wuischpard who made the other 14K yellow gold and platinum cases for Hamilton.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork; fine-plus dial with ample surface spotting most notably near 5; excellent blued steel radium hands; lightly polished case shows very little wear, several tiny dings to bezel; original white crown; excellent shaped glass crystal. Dial and hands tested with a Geiger counter and tests as very radioactive.
